Lawson's Locker was established by scholar-athlete Lawson Watt when he was in 6th grade with a goal of helping make involvement in youth sports a central part of everyday life.
Lawson was introduced to youth sports at a very early age--receiving his first pair of hockey skates and soccer cleats at the age of two. Since those early days,
Lawson's Locker was established by scholar-athlete Lawson Watt when he was in 6th grade with a goal of helping make involvement in youth sports a central part of everyday life.
Lawson was introduced to youth sports at a very early age--receiving his first pair of hockey skates and soccer cleats at the age of two. Since those early days, he has become a multi-sport athlete, experiencing first hand the physical, mental and social benefits of participation in youth sports.
When he learned that equipment and registration fees were keeping kids in his community on the sidelines, he was determined to figure out a way to help.

Lawson's Locker collects and donates new and used sports equipment, cleats, sneakers and uniforms to help children residing in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC.
Through monthly community drives, local donation efforts, and collaboration with community partners, Lawson's Locker aims to provide equal access to youth sports, giving every child the chance to get their game on.
